Catering, Off Site – This is a caterer who is a business or self-employed person who comes to the reception facility to provide the meal. They can either prepare the meal in their own kitchen and transport it via specially equipped vehicles to the event site, or use the kitchen at the site. Most venues require prior knowledge of which caterer you will be using and have limitations on the uses of their kitchen and facility. Many venues require that you select a caterer from their preferred list of providers.
