Save the Date

The “Save the Date” card is a very popular, though not mandatory, notification to alert guests of the date and location of your upcoming nuptials. Used particularly if the wedding is to be held on a popular holiday weekend, out of town for one of your families, or at a distant destination, this postcard or invitation style folder is helpful in assisting your guests in their future planning and often includes hotel accommodation information, as well. Typically sent to family and close friends, it should clearly only be sent to those you are sure will be invited to the wedding.
