Catering, Plated/Served Dinner

This is a dinner which is plated in the kitchen and served one by one to the guests who remain seated at the tables. It is usually more expensive than a buffet style dinner and sometimes includes choices of menu items, which are determined by the couple, chosen by the guests via their RSVP, then indicated on the guests’ seating cards, to be sure everyone gets what they asked for. This is a good way to make provisions for special dietary or ethnic meal restrictions.
